Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how M.TEO Group (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information in connection with the M.TEO Group Internal Hub (the “App”) — a private, internal web application used by M.TEO Group’s insurance agents and staff. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who this App is for

The App is an internal tool for authorised M.TEO Group agents and administrators. It is not a public consumer service. Access requires an account issued or approved by M.TEO Group.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information — your name, identification number used to log in, role, and team/agency details, so we can authenticate you and apply the correct permissions.
  • Activity within the App — points, tasks, check-ins, redemptions, and similar engagement records that power the internal rewards programme.
  • Notification preferences — if you opt in to push notifications, we store the technical subscription needed to deliver them.
  • Google Calendar data — see Section 3 below.

3. How we use Google user data

The App connects to Google Calendar so that agents can view the agency’s shared events (training sessions, company events, contests, promotions, and Zoom room bookings) inside the App, and so administrators can create or manage those events.

Access is performed server-to-server using a single agency Google account that owns these calendars. Individual agents do not connect their personal Google accounts, and the App does not read any individual agent’s personal calendar.

Limited Use disclosure. M.TEO Group’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide and secure the App, to comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition.

4. How we store and protect data

App data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure (Vercel for hosting and serverless functions, and a managed database). Access to Google Calendar uses securely stored credentials held only on the server and never exposed to browsers. We restrict administrative access to authorised personnel and rely on the security controls of our service providers.

5. How we share data

We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

  • Service providers who operate the App on our behalf (e.g. hosting, database, and notification delivery), under their respective terms;
  • Google, to the extent required to read and manage the agency calendars described above;
  • Authorities, where required by applicable law.

6. Data retention

We keep account and activity data for as long as your account is active or as needed to operate the internal programme. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us (see Section 9). Google Calendar data is not separately retained by the App beyond what is needed to display it; the source of truth remains in Google Calendar.

7. Your choices and rights

  • You can turn push notifications on or off at any time within the App.
  • You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data held by the App.
  • Because the App is an internal tool, certain records may be retained where required for the agency’s legitimate operational needs.

8. Children

The App is intended for adult, authorised agents and staff only. It is not directed at children.

9. Contact us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your data, contact us at mteogroup@gmail.com.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
